*.* I want a baby girl too~ *.*

My very first Baby's first month cake. It's baby Lauren's first month today and Eunice came to office to distribute cakes. Think my ang moh bosses were surprised why was she distributing gifts out, rather it should be us buying her presents. Not to worry, Baby Lauren has presents from New York, India, Korea, Australia and Singapore. hehehehe....Brought all her presents to office yesterday for fear that I might forget today.

I love the box, it's so sweet, pink with that cute baby on it. Custom made with Eunice and her family's names down at the corner.

There were custard puffs, fruit tarts, ang ku kueh and swiss rolls.not forgetting red eggs..Yummy

Highlight of the box was this little card which has Baby Lauren picture and a thank you message.

Showed mum the brochure for other designs of baby first month cake boxes...guess what her reply was. "Keep it, next time you can order!" ....hahaha

I carried Baby Lauren, oh my gosh, suddenly, I feel like having a baby, call of motherhood, that feeling of carrying a baby, oooooooohhhhhhhhhh soooo nice, I was sniffing her hands, her hair.her feet..litten mittens and booties.....smell of Milk, priceless, no perfume ever smell like this.....*Sniff Sniff*....the smell of milk....ahhhh my heart melted...carrying this little girl in my arms, so close to me....when will I have one too?

I wonder how is it like to be a mummy, Eunice talked about waking up at night to feed her. Hmmm, I'm such a piggy and deep sleeper, I probably won't realise that my baby is crying.
Can't imagine being a mummy, first of all, I have to make sure I have no more tantrums, imagine having to teach a child yet you yourself is throwing tantrum. hmmm not a very good example. Second, a baby is a lifetime commitment, it's not as easy as carrying it in your womb for nine months, the baby is a human being, he/she will grow up.

Trying to visualise how I would look like with stomach that's size of a bowling ball. Next, I must have enough $ before I have a child. I don't want to be squeezing the train to get to work,I need a car, imagine carrying a 2kg water melon around. I want the best for the child...! Play play and more play, and it will be study, studying and studies...

I want a baby too.......wondering how she/he will look, my eyes, my smiles? hehehe I told Sam, the best combination would be his height his brain, my nose, my face...hehehe a real beauty wouldnt she....guess in the end it really doesnt matter if baby is a girl or boy...both are essence of our love.....*dreaming*

*.* A Wednesday *.*

Feeling so tired and mentally drained. I've gradually convinced myself that work is work, work is only applicable for the day, a night is a night. I've once lost my day and night and I know I'm not gonnna lose it again.

So many things going on at work, new colleagues, not sure if it's a good thing, anyway just keep my fingers crosss it's not another :X, new colleague who's an australian joining next month. My Australian CFOs like her very much and one said she said the new gal is Australian and she thinks I'll be able to get along with herl. Don't want to think anymore, this monthend is so tiring. One last entity to go and I'm done for April monthend. Rest for a week plus and it'gonna be the next monthend. Project to complete by end of June....I've gotta start....Next week I tell myself, straight after this monthend. Every month's a challenge, every month I tell myself I'll do better and faster the next month, guess that keeps me going forward and forward....

I think one big fight and it drained all the energy in me, feeling so weak now, if anyone was to quarrel with me, I doubt I've got energy to rebutt at all.....
I need a recharger!! Recharge my battery.........

There are lots of things that one must do and lots that one must not do in order to rescue and sustain a long-distance relationship. Below is some advice that may look simple but when it comes to the actual execution, it may take more effort than you think.

Establish an effective communication channel

Most people will think that the telephone is the most convenient mode of communication, but there are other means of communication that help keep in touch and say things you might not say over the phone. Instant messenger, emails, VOIP phone and conventional mails can be very effective if you know how to use them. Each of the channels has its own advantages and disadvantages and therefore you must start to explore each of them.

Plan to meet each other

There is nothing more important than planning to meet each other at intervals throughout your long distance relationship. If you think you can sustain the relationship on patience and daily chats, it doesn't happen. It's also a sign of commitment if you take the trouble of actually visiting your partner or better, paying them a surprise visit.

Find a hobby that you can both share

By finding and sticking to a common hobby, both of you will have something to discuss and work on throughout your long distance relationship. Finding something to do online can be quite interesting.

Surprise your partner

Occasionally surprise you partner with cards, gifts, letters and flowers when they least expect it. Put your imagination to use and your partner will be sure to love your efforts to keep them happy.

Capture and share that interesting moment

You can always capture some interesting moment of yours by exchanging photos, video clips and as well as audio recording. This will keep your partner informed on what has happened in your life despite the physical distance.

*.* 好眼泪坏眼泪... *.*

Extracted the following from Yin's blog. One of most beautiful lyrics I've ever read...
